Physician General to Visit COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Hamilton Health Center

01/14/2022

Harrisburg, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Health Physician General Dr. Denise Johnson will visit a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Hamilton Health Center at 11:15 a.m. today. Hamilton Health Center is offering Moderna vaccine for all Pennsylvanians ages 18 and older from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.

“Right now, it is crucial for Pennsylvanians to get vaccinated with their first series and booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine,” Dr. Johnson said. “There are clinics open for ages 5 and older across the commonwealth and the department is working to visit and highlight as many of these clinics as we can. In 2020, strict mitigation measures were in place from a stay-at-home order to a universal masking order. Now in 2022, we have COVID-19 vaccines as the best mitigation measure against the virus. Do your part and get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.”

The Hamilton Health Center vaccine clinic is located at 110 South 17th Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17104 on the second floor. There will be additional free clinics open to the public offering all three COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5 and older throughout January.
