Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux Tasting Event Returns to Pennsylvania on Jan. 20

01/14/2019

Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board today announced that the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux, an internationally renowned Bordeaux wine tasting event, will return to Pennsylvania during an exclusive event at The Rittenhouse in Philadelphia on Jan. 20, 2019, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The event will offer wine aficionados the rare opportunity to meet with some of the world’s top winemakers and taste some of the finest Bordeaux from more than 70 French châteaux. Attendees will be among the first to sample the 2016 vintage and order 2016 Bordeaux futures. In addition, select older-vintage Bordeaux will be available at the on-site Fine Wine & Good Spirits store.

Tickets are $250 each and may be purchased online from event organizer Philadelphia magazine at phillymag.com/grandscrus.

This is the second time the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux will host an event in Philadelphia. The first occurred in 2017. The Philadelphia tasting is one of only two events being held in the Northeastern U.S. during the week-long North American Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux tour.

The Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux promotes and markets Bordeaux Grand Crus through tasting events. Learn more at ugcb.net.
