Fine Wine & Good Spirits to Host Bourbon Legends Boxcar in Philadelphia in September

​Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Basil Hayden’s event coming to Pennsylvania

Philadelphia – Fine Wine & Good Spirits will partner with premium spirits company Beam Suntory to host four popular bourbon brands in a special, reservation-only event in the Philadelphia area on Sept. 14-15.

The Bourbon Legends Boxcar – featuring Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Knob Creek, and Basil Hayden’s bourbons – hosts an immersive, multi-sensory bourbon exploration, featuring four one-of-a-kind experiences. Bourbon experts and icons will walk attendees (who must be 21 years of age and older) through professional tastings from the premium collection of the bourbon legends.

The Bourbon Legends Boxcar event will take place between 5:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. on Saturday, Sept. 14, and between 1:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The event is invitation-only, and only those registering at BourbonBoxcar.com will receive an invitation and be notified of the Philadelphia location of the event. Invitations will include an access code, and attendees must use it to register, reserve their time slots, and find out where the boxcar will be. Every attendee must have a code and be registered to participate in this free event.

The PLCB regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates more than 600 wine and spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits – totaling $16.5 billion since the agency’s inception – are returned to Pennsylvania’s General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania’s schools, health and human services programs, law enforcement, and public safety initiatives, among other important public services. The PLCB also provides financial support for the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, other state agencies, and local municipalities across the state.
