Christopher L. Storm Promoted to State Police Captain

Harrisburg, PA – Acting State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick has promoted Christopher L. Storm to the rank of captain and assigned him as the director of the Department Discipline Office.

Captain Storm enlisted in the state police in 1995 and was assigned to Troop S, Harrisburg after graduating from the academy. He was promoted to corporal in 2002, sergeant in 2005, and lieutenant in 2012. As he progressed through the ranks, Captain Storm served in Troop S, Milesburg; Troop F, Lamar; Troop G, Hollidaysburg; Troop G, Huntingdon; Troop J, Embreeville; Troop T, Everett, Troop T, Highspire; Troop K, Philadelphia; Troop H, Chambersburg; the Bureau of Communication and Information Services; and, most recently, as the patrol section commander at Troop G, Hollidaysburg.

Captain Storm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in administration of justice from Pennsylvania State University in 1990. He served as a Hollidaysburg Borough Police Officer from 1989 to 1995. Captain Storm will be attending the FBI National Academy next month.
