John Patrick O'Malley Promoted to State Police Lieutenant

Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick has promoted John Patrick O'Malley to the rank of lieutenant and assigned as the station commander of Troop N, Stroudsburg. He most recently served as the station commander of Troop M, Belfast. 

Lieutenant O'Malley enlisted in the state police in 1995 and was assigned to Troop M, Bethlehem after graduating from the academy. He was promoted to corporal in 2006 and to sergeant in 2015. As he progressed through the ranks, Lieutenant O'Malley served in Troop M and Troop K.

Lieutenant O'Malley is a graduate of the University of Scranton.
