Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick has promoted George R. Ritchey to the rank of lieutenant and assigned as commander of the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) Administrative Section. He most recently served as supervisor of the Records Management System Implementation Team.
Lieutenant Ritchey enlisted in the state police in 2003 and was assigned to Troop F, Selinsgrove after graduating from the academy. He was promoted to corporal in 2008 and to sergeant in 2016. As he progressed through the ranks, Lieutenant Ritchey served in Troop F and the Bureau of Communications and Information Services.
Lieutenant Ritchey is a graduate of Allegany College of Maryland.
