Dallas, PA – This is just a test. Residents living near the State Correctional Institution at Dallas
may hear sirens in their community as the prison tests their emergency siren system.
On Saturday, Jan. 4, the outdoor sirens at the prison will sound at noon. The siren could potentially sound for up to five minutes. The emergency siren test will allow the community to become familiar with the warning system in the unlikely event of an emergency at SCI Dallas.
