‘When I’m 65’ Campaign Visits Pittsburgh

Harrisburg, PA - Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking and Securities Robin L. Wiessmann will provide opening remarks at a public panel discussion hosted by station WQED, Pittsburgh public broadcasting station, on April 26, focusing on how Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials can prepare for retirement.

“With 45 percent of Americans having nothing saved for retirement, our country is facing a serious financial challenge in the coming decades,” said Wiessmann. “In Pennsylvania, we are taking proactive steps to meet this challenge head-on. Through the production of ‘When I’m 65,’ we are helping provide information and tools so that our citizens can better plan how to fund their retirements.”

The panel discussion is part of a preview screening of “When I'm 65,” a documentary exploring the psychology, sociology, and future of retirement.  “When I’m 65” will be aired by WQED on Monday, May 8, at 8:00 PM.

  • Kim Tillotson-Fleming, Chairman and CEO, Hefren-Tillotson, Inc.
