Pennsylvania to Auction 600 Vehicles, DUCK Boat
In-person preview of vehicles Friday, October 18 – Monday, October 21
Harrisburg, PA – The commonwealth's largest auction of the year will feature nearly 600 vehicles – including a 1943 DUCK Boat – on Tuesday, October 22 at Manheim Keystone Pennsylvania, 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville.
The 1943 GMC DUKW DUKW-353 was being used by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The vehicle, introduced in 1943, is an amphibious vehicle that drives on land, but has a hollow body for buoyancy and a single propeller for use in water.
Vehicles seized by state law enforcement agencies will include: 2016 Chrysler 200, 2015 Nissan Altima 2013 Honda Accord LX, 2013, 2013 Dodge Avenger, 2012 Jaguar XF, 2010 Nissan Altima, 2005 BMW 645CI, 2004 Porsche Cayenne, 2002 Mercedes C230K and more.
Just in time for fall and winter weather, a large selection of Jeeps will be available along with pick-up trucks, SUVs, all-wheel-drive sedans, utility trucks, police and other types of vehicles no longer used by state agencies from manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC and others.
Pre-registration is encouraged and begins on Friday, October 18, running through Monday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day at the Grantville auction site. During that same time frame, individuals interested in personally viewing the vehicles can do so.
The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22. Buyers may purchase with cash or certified funds in the form of money order, cashier's check, certified check or bank check – made payable to "Manheim Keystone PA."
