Whiskey maker bringing themed ‘bar on wheels’ to southeastern Pennsylvania

Harrisburg – Two Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection stores in the Philadelphia area will host the Bulleit Woody Tour, making a weekend in August the perfect time for enthusiasts to visit and sample premium whiskies.

The themed “Bulleit Bar on Wheels” will stop at the following Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection stores:

  • 132 Woodcutter St., Exton, between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Friday, Aug. 16
  • Columbus Commons, 1940 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, between noon and 2:00 PM Saturday, Aug. 17

The Bulleit Woody Trailer is a high-touch traveling embodiment of the brand that evokes its spirit through discovery-driven experiences. Much like the way in which Tom Bulleit revived his family’s bourbon recipe for modern whiskey drinkers to enjoy, the Woody is a tangible way for consumers to interact with the brand.

Bourbon and rye fans 21 years of age and older will also have the chance to sample premium products inside the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection stores in conjunction with the Woody Tour stops:

• Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey (Code 9000) – $30.99
• Bulleit Rye Frontier Whiskey (Code 3864) – $30.99

The PLCB regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates more than 600 wine and spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits – totaling $16.5 billion since the agency’s inception – are returned to Pennsylvania’s General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania’s schools, health and human services programs, law enforcement, and public safety initiatives, among other important public services. The PLCB also provides financial support for the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, other state agencies, and local municipalities across the state.
