Seven Fine Wine & Good Spirits in Philadelphia Resume In-Store, Curbside Sales

Harrisburg – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board today announced that seven Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in Philadelphia are resuming limited in-store sales and curbside pickup service.

On Friday, July 10, the following stores resumed limited in-store public access:

  • 135 W. Chelten Ave.
  • McKeown Shopping Center, 6824 Rising Sun Ave.
On Monday, July 13, the following stores resumed curbside pickup service:
  • The Shops at Brewerytown, 3101 W. Girard Ave., (215) 978-2124
  • 4229 N. Broad St., (215) 456-2100
  • Woodland Village Shopping Center, 6036 Woodland Ave., (215) 726-4650
  • 7702 City Ave., (215) 452-5300
On Tuesday, July 14, the store at 4906-4908 Baltimore Ave., (215) 726-4046, will resume curbside pickup service.

Stores opening for curbside pickup service will take orders on a first-call, first-served basis each day and schedule pickup appointments. Each store has its own unique inventory, and staff will guide callers through the products available for purchase before finalizing each order and taking payment by phone. At pickup, customers will be required to present identification before the order is delivered. Customers will not be allowed inside stores open only for curbside pickup.

The following mitigation efforts will be in place as stores resume limited in-store public access:
  • Stores will limit the number of customers in a store at any time, allowing no more than 25 people (employees and customers) in any location and further restricting numbers of customers in smaller stores.
  • The first hour each store is open each day will be reserved for customers at high risk for COVID-19, including those 65 years of age and older. Voluntary compliance from all customers is encouraged in the interest of protecting the health and safety of our most vulnerable community members.
  • Customers and employees will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing, guided by signage throughout the stores.
  • Signage will also direct customers to follow one-way patterns to avoid cross-traffic and encourage them to refrain from touching products unless they intend to buy them.
  • Store employees will perform enhanced and frequent cleaning and disinfecting, and store hours will be modified to ensure appropriate time for cleaning and restocking.
  • All sales are final, and no returns will be accepted until further notice.
Prior to opening to the public, each location was professionally sanitized, and Plexiglas was installed at registers to provide a physical barrier between employees and customers at checkout. All Fine Wine & Good Spirits employees are being provided masks, gloves, and frequent opportunities to wash hands.

Stores reopening to limited public access will continue offering curbside pickup to the best of their abilities, as they operate with limited staff.
