Scott R. Soliday Promoted to State Police Lieutenant

Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Robert Evanchick has promoted Scott R. Soliday to the rank of lieutenant and assigned him as the commander of the Western PA All Hazards Fusion Center in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Lieutenant Soliday enlisted in the state police in 1994 and was assigned to Troop A, Greensburg after graduating from the academy. As he progressed through the ranks, Lieutenant Soliday also served in the Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations and, most recently, as the commander of the Western Organized Crime Task Force in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. He attained the rank of corporal in 2008 and sergeant in 2016.

Lieutenant Soliday is a native of Connellsville, Fayette County, and a 1982 graduate of Connellsville High School.
