Hello, PSERS members. As Board Chairman, I am excited to announce to you that PSERS has embarked on its first strategic plan in over a decade.
The strategic plan – linked here and on psers.pa.gov – provides the Board and staff with a working blueprint for how we can better serve you and the Commonwealth; it captures our commitment to fulfilling our fiduciary duty while delivering tremendous customer service to our members. The plan will help ensure the Board and staff work collaboratively to meet your career and retirement needs while also meeting public accountability expectations.
As I prepare to end my tenure on the Board and embark on my own retirement, I do so with peace of mind. I know PSERS Executive Director Terri Sanchez and her team will successfully manage this plan through fruition.
