We have some great news to share: PSERS has introduced a new Member Self-Service (MSS) Portal. The new MSS Portal allows members to conduct many more pension plan-related transactions online than they can now—and do so securely, faster, and with 24/7 convenience—instead of filling out paper forms or contacting PSERS staff.
The new site gives members instant electronic confirmation of transactions—so no more waiting for confirmation by mail. As members manage their personal and pension plan account information online, we expect that PSERS staff will have more time to dedicate to our members.
In addition to improving the member experience, the new MSS Portal helps PSERS reduce plan administration expenses. The new MSS Portal also means that PSERS can deliver member communications through secure electronic communications, rather than home mailings. We anticipate that this new paperless communications option will help PSERS save many millions of dollars.
PSERS is proud to be taking this important step on the path of improving member service. Our goal is to give members greater access to their pension plan account information and the ability to manage their personal information anywhere, anytime.
