PLEASE READ: IF YOU ARE RUNNING FOR A STATE LEVEL OFFICE AND NEED TO FILE THE STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL INTERESTS FORM
The State Ethics Commission staff will be available in the Keystone Building to review your Statement of Financial Interests form from Friday, March 5 through Tuesday, March 9. Note that the Finance Building is closed to the public and the Commission highly recommends that you come to the Keystone Building if you are filing in person on these days.
If you are filing your Statement of Financial Interests on days other than 3/5, 3/8 and 3/9, there are two ways to complete the form:
- Preferred - Online Filing System: If the Statement of Financial Interests form is completed online at the Commission's website, it does not need to be reviewed or time stamped by the Commission as the review and approval is done remotely and you will be notified via e-mail if a change is needed. To access the form, go to the Commission's website: www.ethics.pa.gov; click on the link titled "Online Filing" and fill out the online form. A PDF copy of the Statement of Financial Interests form will be e-mailed to you upon completion.
Paper Form: If the Statement of Financial Interests paper form is used, it needs to be reviewed, time stamped and the original filed with the Commission prior to filing the nomination petition. Since the Finance Building is closed to the public at this time, call the Commission offices at 717-783-1610 and someone will meet you at the main entrance of the Finance Building, located in the middle of the building on the North Drive side, by Soldiers Grove. Commission staff will review your form, and time stamp it. Please have multiple copies available as needed (i.e., one for your files, one for your petition, etc.). The Commission has staff available on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
