Armstrong County Youth Wins Supreme Champion at the Market Showmanship Contest
McKenzie Stadtmiller of Dayton, Armstrong County earned the title of Supreme Champion in the Market Showmanship contest, competing against Showmanship Champions selected in other junior market livestock shows. This contest included a written test as well as showing every market species, those species were pigs, goats, lambs, steers, and rabbits. McKenzie received a check and a banner for coming out on top in the contest.

Western Pennsylvania Horse Exhibitors Pull for First Place
Beaver, Mercer, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties pull first to the finish line at the 104th Pennsylvania Farm Show. Horses pulled in two divisions, lightweight and heavyweight, while the ponies pulled in two divisions, middleweight and heavyweight.

Dauphin County's Fiber Frenzy team bring Home 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show Youth Fleece to Shaw Blue Ribbon
Three teams competed at the 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show Youth Fleece Competition. Each of the teams had three hours to start from fleece and end with the making of a shawl with at least a width of 22 inches and a length of 78 inches. The Fiber Frenzy's shawl sold at auction for $900 to Jonathan Coble from Dauphin County.

Franklin County's Friends Thru Fiber Team Champions of PA Farm Show Sheep to Shawl Contest
At the 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show today, Franklin County's Friends Thru Fiber was named the champion team of the Sheep to Shawl Contest. The reserve champion shawl made by Twisted Sisters and a Dude of Westmoreland County sold at auction for $1,500 to John and Maryann Pittman of Indiana County.

Four Teams Compete for First Place at Celebrity Cow Milking Contest
At the 106th PA Farm Show Celebrity Cow Milking Contest today, PA Dairy Princess Mikayla Davis, Senator Amanda Cappelletti, Representative Mark Gillen, Representative Joe Kerwin, and Erica Teagarden of the Farm Show Junior Committee milked out a win with 1.85 pounds of milk.

Army and Navy Battle for Culinary Superiority at 106th PA Farm Show Cook-Off
Today Team Navy claimed victory during the Army v. Navy Cook-Off on the PA Preferred® Culinary Connection Stage at the 106th Pennsylvania Farm Show. The sixth culinary competition was the centerpiece of Military, Veterans and their Families Day, a full day of events honoring veterans for their service to our country.
