LAKE WALLENPAUPACK ACCESS AREA REOPENED FOLLOWING PAVING PROJECT

HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 25) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Lake Wallenpaupack Access Area at Mangan Cove has reopened to the public following a maintenance project that began on May 17.

Users of the access area will notice an upgraded parking lot with new pavement.  Users should be aware that while the parking area and boat launch have reopened, line painting will continue as weather permits.

Located along Route 590 in Paupack Township, Wayne County, the PFBC's access area at Mangan Cove provides free public access to Lake Wallenpaupack and can accommodate parking for approximately 48 vehicles with trailers and 20 additional vehicles.
