Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Announces 20% Off Store Closing Sale at Fine Wine & Good Spirits in Hershey

02/14/2022

Hershey – The Fine Wine & Good Spirits at 731 Cherry Dr., Hershey, Dauphin County (inside Karns Foods) is closing, so all wines, spirits, and accessories at this location will be an additional 20% off during regular business hours from Monday, Feb. 14, through Monday, Feb. 28.

The store’s last day of business will be Monday, Feb. 28, as the current landlord is exercising an option to terminate the lease. The PLCB is actively seeking another location to serve this part of Hershey but has yet to secure a new location.

While the store is scheduled to be open through Feb. 28, if the store runs out of stock, it will not be restocked and the store will close.

This sale is only available at the 731 Cherry Dr., Hershey, location from Feb. 14 through Feb. 28 to retail customers; the sale is not available to licensees, who already receive a discount off retail prices.

After Feb. 28, Hershey-area customers are encouraged to shop at these nearby Fine Wine & Good Spirits locations:
1158 Mae St., Hummelstown (a Premium Collection store)
Palmyra Shopping Center, 901 E. Main St., Palmyra
Swatara Square, 6301 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg

The PLCB regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates 600 wine and spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits – totaling nearly $18.7 billion since the agency’s inception – are returned to Pennsylvania’s General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania’s schools, health and human services programs, law enforcement, and public safety initiatives, among other important public services. The PLCB also provides financial support for the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, other state agencies, and local municipalities across the state.
